Lately, I've been trying to make my blog more personal. Less serious literary reviews and a little bit more of 'me' for flavour. So, what better way to do this than participate in Five Question Friday at My Little Life.
~ ~ ~
1. Can you drive a stick shift?
Nope. I won't attempt it. Why?
A) Most likely something will go horribly wrong. Driving whilst playing with a stick just doesn't bode well for me... at least at first ;)
B) I love my pretty little automatic
2. What are two foods you just can't eat?
Any kind of seafood.
Veal.
Actually, there's a lot of other meat products I won't touch.
3. Do you buy Girl Scout Cookies? What is your favourite kind?
I don't buy them, but they do magically appear in my home. The all chocolate one's are divine.
4. How do you pamper yourself?
Bubble baths with lots and lots of bubbles! And, I suppose alcohol. I hardly ever drink, so when I do its kinda like pampering... kinda.
5. What is your nickname and how did you get it?
Chels and C are the most common and derive directly from my name.
Unfair to put pictures of cookies!! Now I'm going to have to go make some. Love your blog. Thank you also for leaving a comment on our blog!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
I'll be back often...
Thank you for visiting and subsequently following My Bookshelf. I enjoyed your answers and am now a follower of yours.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I've been trying to figure out how to make my blog a little more personal, as well, and I have a few ideas, but am still undecided as to what I want to do.
ReplyDeleteLoved reading all your answers!! Such a fun post! I dont get Veal either- GAG!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog! Your comment was so sweet, and I'm so happy I inspired you to pick up East of Eden again :)
ReplyDeleteI totally take bubble baths to pamper myself too... if I'm out of the bath in less than an hour, I consider it completely unsuccessful lol!
Thank you all for visiting and your kind comments!
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking out my blog.
ReplyDeleteI actually went the opposite way and recently separated by book reviews into a new blog, away from my personal blog. But it's always nice to learn more about the person behind a blog.
