Follow Friday

I've decided to mix the meme up this week. I've seen many bloggers posting about Follow Friday. Nine months in the book blogosphere and still no Follow Friday for me? I think it's time I gave it a shot.

This week's question is: Who are You the Girl, instead of You the Blogger?

I've been trying (and trying again) to make my blog more personal. When I saw this query at Parajunkee's Follow Friday I knew I had to participate!

So, who am I?

I'm Ms. C, less formally known as Chelsea. I love the colour purple, coffee, ice cream, and long walks on the beach (sorry, I couldn't resist throwing that in).

Honestly, now... I'm a girl of contradictions. I'm generally confused about my emotions or plans. I overthink and overanalyze. I ask a lot of questions. The only time I ever seem to think straight is when I write my thoughts down on paper (or .word documents). Maybe that's why I like blogging so much?

I'm a recent university graduate trying to adjust to life between B.A. and Masters. I volunteer at two local heritage organizations. I am passionate about promoting and preserving history.

And, I love the printed word. Like, really love it. My day is made merely by receiving a handwritten letter in the mail.

  2. I'm loving the handwritten letters too! Another blogger and I have exchanged addresses so we can be penpals and I bought a lot of pretty stationery from Etsy. It's really fun to do that kind of thing!

  8. This is maybe the best Follow Friday question I've seen so far. I'm learning so much about so many book bloggers this week!

    (Some surprising things at that!)

I've got a few surprises in store for you! Follow me back to my blog and learn more about who I am - the man, not the blogger and author.

    Thank God it's Follow Friday!

  14. Hallo hun! Thanks for you Friday Hop participation. Appreciate it and hope you met some new friends.

I don't think I've gotten a written letter in so long. Cards maybe, but not a handwritten letter. I used to love getting letters from pen pals and when I was in the military everyone wrote me because laptops really weren't common then so you couldn't cart your desk top to all your stations. That was nice. Thanks for reminding me. Maybe I'll make it a point to write. Other than my uncle in jail..LOL

I hope you come back to Parajunkee's View soon! XO❤XO❤ - Parajunkee

  16. Hey, I just wanted to let you know that your link to your blog didn't work. I don't know if you just mistyped it for my blog, but I wanted to let you know in case you write it like that every time, since you might be missing out on a lot of new followers if so. You wrote your web address with a, "www," so I think it just needs to be "http://" instead. Anyway, I hope you're having a good night and I'll ttyl!

  17. I love the printed word, too. As a teacher, one of the conversations that comes up a lot with parents is the importance of teaching kids how to write. Public schools are phasing out cursive, which I think is really sad--it's an art form. Some parents think that their children aren't going to need to know how to write in cursive because they'll be typing everything when they grow up.

Anyway, thanks for the follow and the compliment about my blog!

I love comments...
Almost as much as I love coffee.

All puns put aside, I really do adore the comments you ever-so-kindly post. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and leave a few words. I love hearing your view on the topic!
